wise table

Collette did a great job of creating materials for the table, painting frames that matched for a beautiful display!

Looking at the photo above you can see we had a
great table - but needed a little sparkle...
Right after that photo was taken Cindy Helmer
showed up with her fabulous glass creations -
and really put the finishing touches on the table!

Remember that we'll be hosting a table at WISE 2011;
don't miss out on your opportunity to

Checking out with Collette

Great display work by Linda and Collette!

Lots of time for networking that night.

As a jewelry artist in her own right, Marie Testa
really appreciate the work that went into these pieces.

Mickey making the tough life choices;
Tracy is busy taking orders!

Laurie also took the display on the road;
setting up at Danielle Banquet Specialists' Christmas Bazaar.

Photos of the ladies in their "Beads for Life" jewelry at The Blue Flag Room.

The WISE Conference was well attended this year - 1,000+ women and at least a dozen network members were there! We hosted a table and had a great time building connections with other local business women!

Back row: Diane Starsiak, Eileen Kent, Collette Aurand, Tracy Black,
and honorary member Juanita Bass
Front row: Joyce Finnegan & Veronika Freeman

Anne Pyrda & Veronika Freeman also got to spend some quality with with Emme, model, spokeswoman, author and keynote speaker for the event!

She is as gracious as she is beautiful; Emme walks her talk!

You can learn more about her at her site emmestyle.com

December 1, 2007 we made a showing at Clayville Library's Gingerbread House Building event!

Julie's House  •   Laurie, Barb & Veronika's Houses  •   Laurie's House
Manger & Icicle House  •   Cora Cleans Up

Julie - master baker
& coordinator
Laurie & Barb (& Veronika's cousin, Diane) really took this seriously!
Cora - the only woman brave enough to build a two story house!
Is it because she has three men at home?

Barb's house is soooo cute - she's going to preserve it with hairspray... what else would she use?!
The manger in the group - she said she'll add the animals and people too... wow - how creative!
We all hate the woman that made this! There must be hundreds of little icicles on ths house - and there are other awesome details all around it... watch out lady, we're after you next year!

Zonta Brunch May 18, 2007

Zonta Brunch was a blast!

March 18th we helped the Utica Club of Zonta raise money for women's educational and health-related programming in the community. Several of us were executive waitresses, vying for tips for a great cause!

Winter Wonderland of Lights was so fun!

We volunteered to "woman" a booth at the Wonderland of Lights on December 29, 2006
We had a great time: Barb Dougherty, Barb Goldsmith, Laurie Ann Dowell and Veronika Freeman braved the cold temps to sell tickets and wish the visitors a Happy New Year!

"... and she said 'cut it up to here!'"

"Is there any more Godiva chocolate?"

Barb "The BagLady" Dougherty!

Remember to dim your headlights, "for optimum viewing pleasure".

Lots of people brought their poochies to the show; some seemed to enjoy it more than others!

"I love seeing the poochies!"

"Help, my butt is frozen to the chair
and I can't get up!"
